Description
Tale of Two Goddesses returns with deeper resonance and a more refined form. Inspired by the Jeju shamanic myth Saengbulhalmang Bonpuri, it tells the origin story of the goddess who grants and protects life. First premiered at the 2023 Yeowoorak Festival, the piece blends Pansori and jazz, Jeju folk songs and rituals, and the delicate artistry of traditional paper flowers. A moving story of isolation, loss, love, and solidarity unfolds - fragile yet powerful - like paper blossoms in bloom. Tale of Two Goddesses stands as a vivid reminder and a celebration of the beauty of life and the strength of human connection.
