Description

Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton) joins Éanna Hardwicke (The Sixth Commandment) and Siobhán McSweeney (Derry Girls) in John Millington Synge’s riveting play of youth and self-discovery. Filmed live on stage at the National Theatre, Caitríona McLaughlin directs this darkly funny tale full to the brim with secrets.

Synopsis

Pegeen Flaherty’s life is turned upside down when a young man walks into her pub claiming that he’s killed his father. Instead of being shunned, the killer becomes a local hero and begins to win hearts, that is until a second man unexpectedly arrives on the scene…

Notice

[Age Restriction & Ticket Pickup]

1) This performance is open to middle school students and older (born on or before December 31, 2013). To verify the admission age, you may be requested to present supporting documents indicating your date of birth, so please make sure to bring them. Cancellations, refunds, or changes to reservations are strictly unavailable under any circumstances if admission is denied or waived on the day of the performance due to a lack of awareness regarding the age restriction.

2) Ticket pickup for pre-booked tickets and on-site purchases are available starting 1 hour before the performance begins. Since the box office becomes crowded before the show, please try to collect your admission tickets at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
3) On the day of the performance, you can collect your tickets at the box office by presenting a valid ID under the reservation name (Resident Registration Card, Driver's License) or the booking text message (reservation number). If you have applied for a discount, you must bring the relevant supporting documentation. If the supporting documentation is not provided, you must pay the difference relative to the regular price to receive your tickets. Once tickets are collected, refunds for the price difference cannot be processed even if the proof is provided later. Issued tickets cannot be reissued under any circumstances if lost, so please be careful with their safekeeping.

[ Audience Guidelines & Admission ]
1) Admission is restricted after the performance begins except during designated times. When admission is permitted, you may be guided to a seat other than your own by an usher to ensure disrupting other audience members, and refunds will not be available due to this adjustment.
2) The pre-announced running time and the actual performance time may vary slightly. Refunds are not available for this reason.
3) Photography, video recording, and audio recording that have not been agreed upon in advance are strictly prohibited.
4) If attendance on the day is impossible or waived due to parking and traffic congestion, ticket cancellations, refunds, and changes are unavailable, so please use public transportation as much as possible.
