Ever trembling, ever breaking, like a river, yet seen from afar, existing as a single tranquil current, so too is the voice of the one who sings.
The SONG Project, launched in 2025, meets its audience for the very first time. It is a multidisciplinary performance in which existing original compositions, newly created music, and poetry are woven into a single narrative. From the sijo of Joseon-dynasty statesman Ori Yi Won-ik, to the 1940s poetry of Park Mok-wol, and onward to works created by young artists — all come together on the stage of the Haneul Round Theater. It is here that our poetry and music, flowing ceaselessly like a river, will take their first steps toward the global stage.
