This performance brings together singer-songwriter sunwoojunga, known for effortlessly crossing genres, and composer/arranger Chae Ji-Hye, who is celebrated for her bold reinterpretations of traditional Korean music. Together, they portray the countless “aspirations” that bloom within our lives, weaving them into rich rhythms and melodies that move fluidly between tradition and modernity. sunwoojunga’s signature songs such as “Run With Me” and “Want to Want,” along with Chae Ji-Hye’s works like “Ariari, The Vortex of Tragedy,” meet within the soundscape of gugak and blend together like water.
