Description
A retelling of the classic fairy tale, the mermaid saves a prince from a shipwreck and expresses her love through a coral flute. On the day of the sea festival, she’s caught by the king of the sea while longing for the prince among shipwreck debris. Unable to abandon her love, she makes a deal with a sea witch to become human, but the prince, under a spell, marries a neighboring princess. Her mermaid sisters give her a magical dagger, urging her to kill the prince to survive. but she refuses, plays the flute instead, and turns into sea foam. The prince awakens from the spell, but it’s too late.
