Description
The monumental Korean novel 『the Land』 by Park Kyung-ni is reimagined as a multidisciplinary performance blending dance and music. Based on Part 1 of the five-volume epic, the adaptation transfo rms the novel’s dee p sense of han The performance sheds light on the Korean national narrative, historical mem ory, and cultural identity. Directed and choreographed by Jeon Yu-oh, Korean dancer active in both Korea and Vietnam, the work draws on Korean movement aesthetics to explore the bonds betwe en people and land, community and identity. Dance Performance 〈Land〉 promises a profound reflection on our roots this autumn.
