Resource Usage

The Museum of Performing Arts of National Theater owns about 220,000 aspects of data and resources.
From Performing Arts Archives and the digital archive website (http://archive.ntok.go.kr), anyone may easily and conveniently access and use a variety of resources in the performing arts genre including performance materials of National Theater’s resident companies specializing in dramas, dances, music, changgeuk, pansori and plays.










On-site Usage

Performing Arts Archive I Closed on: Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays

Collection : Audiovisual and bibliography resources related to
performing arts including performance videos, audio, photos, scripts,
programs, etc.

Resource Usage :

Browsing : Anyone may freely browse
(however, there may be restrictions depending on resources, so reservations
in advance are recommended)

Copying : Provisionally allowed within legal boundaries for public
interest and non-commercial purposes
(Inquiry in advance required)
Rental : Provisionally allowed for public purposes only, which includes,
but not limited to, employees or members of the National Theater of
Korea or its resident companies, museums and art galleries
Other : Database search for original text data, laptop desks, etc.

Note :

Personal items excluding writing utensils and valuables must be
stored in lockers.
Food is not allowed in order to prevent damages to materials
Prohibited to take photos or videos without permission

Performing Arts Archive II (Performing Arts Library)Closed on: Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays

Opening Hours : Mon-Fri / 9:00-18:00 (except 12:00-13:00)

Collection : Books and periodicals related performing arts
including changgeuk, dances, dramas, music, etc.

Resource Usage :

Browsing : Anyone may freely browse
Copying : Partial copying (1/3) allowed in accordance
with the Copyright Law
Rental : Provisionally allowed for employees or members
of the National Theater of Korea or its resident companies only
Other : Searching and usage of electronic books in National
Library of Korea or National Assembly Library web database

The performing arts digital archive website may be used by anyone
without the need to sign up for a membership.

However, you must sign up online as a member of the National Theater
of Korea should you wish to use additional features such as copying
requests or placing resources into the cart.
