<Five Vibe> draws attention for its bold composition and electrifying energy. The work is choreographed and directed by Ye Hyo-seung - the first Korean dancer to join Belgium's Les Ballets C de la B and a singular presence in the contemporary dance world. Rendered in Ye's own artistic language, it reinterprets five sensory qualities inherent in Korean dance: line, rhythm, breath, exhilaration, and time. Foregrounding the restrained energy, low, grounded center, and distinctive physicality unique to Korean male dance, the production reveals its multifaceted appeal. A soundscape blending traditional rhythm with EDM and DJing amplifies the dancers' movement, bringing vibrant energy to the stage.
